Corrigan and Carrigan share the same Soundex Code: C625. I'm hoping the information from an index card to a Hartford, CT naturalization will lead us in the right direction:
Family name: Corrigan
Given name or names: Lawrence
Address: Hartford, Conn.
Title and location of court: City; Hartford
Date of naturalization: Oct 25, 1876 [1]
Update, 10 June 2011: National Archives at Boston reports that no significant genealogical information is associated with this record, but only the fact of naturalization.
