This census reported that Mary Noonan -- in the 1870 household of Jeremiah Noonan -- had been
born in Ireland and was about seven years old (born about 1863) on census day. I searched for her baptism and found a good match
in the Roman
Catholic parish of Lismore:

Now I’ll be ordering FHL film 001,972,732 – “Michigan
Deaths, 1921-1952” – to take a look at a copy of the following original document. The corresponding FamilySearch index lists the
death of one Mary Crowley with no image available:

Crowley is more than likely Mary’s married name, while the
birth date appears to be later than the Lismore baptism. Yet birth information on a death record is
secondary information while the date of baptism is primary information and
likely closer to the truth.
